James Kent "Old Foley" The Way to Wealth - Wise Sayings Black Transferware Plate 5 Wedgwood Dog Plate and others with leaves inThis is a vintage black transferware plate produced by James Kent as part of a series of plates titled "The Way to Wealth Wise Sayings". I have six different plates in this series and they are all adorable. This particular one depicts a cobbler busy at work on a street corner in town whilst a woman does laundry behind him. Captioned below is: "He that hath a trade hath an estate. At the working man's house hunger looks in but dares not enter. Industry
