NIJ 0108. 01 Type III tested, the NATO series also defeats the 7. 62 x 39mm, 123 gr. Mild Steel Core special threat round. The polyethylene armor composite is protected by an aluminum skin and features a 2 x 10 viewport in the NATO 1 and NATO 2 and a 4 x 16 viewport in the NATO 3.
